With 8 movement, it is pretty mobile, and, with access to swords and bows, capable of 1-2 range. I asked myself how the ideal utility unit would look like and made one close to it, just for fun. Still, none should break it.Īs for something that might: The Ranger class. One will usually not acquire a lot of these weapons in the course of one run as they are fairly expensive and funds are limited, so I do not know how much some of them impact the game's balance. I rebalanced those weapons and linked them to their respective characters, as I thought it might prompt the player to check the shops more frequently, making them more interesting. In Fates' code, there is the option for a character to have a "special shop item", which will be available every time they appear as vendor. Regarding the "new shop feature", as you may be aware, there are a lot of joke weapons in Fates. That said, the majority of characters should be viable or at least have a niche they fit in, so if your roster is stable enough, you should not have to bench that one unit you wanted to use despite a few bad level ups (though I have to warn you: Level ups are generally good in this game, but experience will be limited as there are no skirmishes and most enemies give 1/2 EXP).

How difficult the overall experience will be for each run is of course dependent on how optimised one is willing to play. This is the difficulty I assume most players will pick, it is therefore far more polished than the others.
FIRE EMBLEM FATES LUNATIC CHAPTER 5 PATCH
The lunatic difficulty of this patch is aimed to be about as challenging as Conquest's hard mode. I have already written about this in a thread I published, but for those who have not read it, the map design is generally supposed to be more like Conquest's. changed a few skills/their availability I tried to address some of the issues people commonly have with Birthright, and add some stuff I thought might be neat. This is a patch for the Birthright route of Fire Emblem Fates that aims to.patch the game.
